This section provides information on
customizing TRACE from a project manager’s perspective. To customize a project
in TRACE, the person performing the customization must be a project
administrator.
As being said, forms are the backbone of
TRACE and the form types are the templates of the forms. So, the majority of
customization work is about creating/customizing the form types.
A project administrator’s changes affect the
project only:
● Modules, form types, and fields: Changes are limited to the project level. New modules, form
types, and fields appear for use on the project that the PM has rights on only.
● Roles and access rights: Can create new roles and
modify access rights on the project only.
● Project Settings: Can modify who can
access the project and choose from existing list of modules and form types.
